I have decided to make my two international contacts in Nigeria and Rwanda. I am excited to see how these two countries embrace early childhood education and what methods they use to progress in the field. I am excited to establish a relationship with the individuals in these regions of the world and make connections to open them up to our methods of teaching. I plan to correspond with these countries via email and learn as much as possible.

Association for Childhood Education International is the site that I am going to explore through the duration of this course. I have joined their email list to be able to receive the most current updates about what they have going on in their organization.

  1. Hello Jasmine,
I have come to discover that there is so many issues that are taking place internationally that most of the world of people is not aware of. I think that it is not bought into the light or socia edia the way that it should. Just like how we can turn on our television set and see someon getting robbed, killed, and such forth; i feel that the fact that children are not able to get the correct type of education the way how rhey should due to simple issues like food, clothes, books, money to get to an dfrom school, thi sshould shoul dbe broad caste das well. It is possible that the more this is exposed, the more possibilities there may be of getting help and improvement in building a more positive learning environment internationally all over the world.
    respectfully,
    Michelle Millwood
